A couple of US academics have just published some research on Merger & Acquisition (M&A) reporting (a subject close to my heart) in the US.
They have come up with some interesting theories on how to tell whether M&A stories will come "true".
I'm not sure I would agree with everything these academics espouse but they make a couple of valid points nonetheless.

What would be really interesting is if these academics applied their research and theories to the UK/European M&A reporting market.
I'm not sure these pointy-heads would get very far....
